This Privacy Policy explains how the "Split the Bill" mobile application (the "App"), published by Denys Lynnyk ("we", "us", or "our"), handles your information.
The short version: we don't collect any of it.
1. No Data Collection
Split the Bill does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. The App has no backend server and no user accounts. We have no ability to see, access, or store any information you enter into the App.
2. Data You Enter
Any information you create in the App — including party names, participant names, expenses, amounts, and calculations — is stored locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device and is never sent to us or to any third party.
3. No Tracking or Analytics
The App does not use cookies, advertising identifiers, analytics SDKs, or any other tracking technology. We do not build user profiles or monitor how you use the App.
4. No Third-Party Sharing
Because we collect no data, we have nothing to share with third parties, advertisers, or analytics providers.
5. Deleting Your Data
Your data lives entirely on your device. You can remove it at any time by deleting individual parties within the App, or by uninstalling the App, which removes all associated local data.
6. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).
7. Changes to This Policy
If the App's functionality changes in the future (for example, if a backend or sync feature is added), we will update this Privacy Policy and revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
